Holy Hand Sanitizer, has it been two years?

It’s all been a bit of a blur — the sudden shift to working from home indefinitely to Webex happy hours to slowly re-entering the office and seeing coworkers and customers in person.

It’s fair to say we’ve experienced a plethora of extraordinary situations and emotions during these last two years and counting.

But one thing remains steady and constant through the uncertainty: Hybrid work. We value the choice hybrid work brings and are productive and resilient because of it.

According to our latest global hybrid work study, most people feel their work performance has improved, along with their well-being, work-life balance, relationships, and even personal confidence.

Maybe that’s the case for you, too. Or maybe your experience is different? One thing is certain: Hybrid work is here to stay.

Say hello to “How I Work” — a new CEC series

Yes, we all see each other on Webex, but this series goes beyond the grid view. It delves into how employees find success and happiness as they set their own paths for hybrid work — the good, the challenges, and the strides being made.

First up, we meet Bethany Orosz, a customer delivery leader based in Round Hill, Virginia. She works from her recreational vehicle as often as she can, exploring new areas and visiting family while managing customer relationships.

“Hybrid work means I have balance in my life,” Bethany shares. “My day doesn’t always have to be the same. Cisco does a great job giving us the flexibility we need to take care of our home life, our work life, and ourselves.”
