Cisco to Hold Press Conference Unveiling the Next Phase of its Smart+Connected Communities Initiative in North America

WHAT:

Cisco and a leading Ohio nonprofit will announce a new partnership and series of pilot programs aimed at improving local citizens' quality of life. This relationship is the latest in Cisco's ongoing global Smart+Connected Communities initiative, with the goal of increasing access to education and government services via advanced connected technologies. Dr. Anil Menon, president for Smart+Connected Communities at Cisco, will join via Cisco TelePresence to highlight how Cisco is empowering cities and regions to bring economic, social and environmental sustainability to its citizens by incorporating the use of vertical solutions built on the network.  In addition, the press conference will feature live demos showcasing several of the integral technologies that are driving this vision forward.
