Cisco Systems to Participate in Rockwell Automation Fair in Milwaukee

WHO: Cisco Systems and Rockwell Automation

WHAT: Cisco will feature demonstrations of the Cisco Catalyst® 2955 and the Cisco Network Register in Booth 624 at the Rockwell Automation Fair. With expected attendance of 8,000, the fair is an educational forum created to showcase the newest industrial automation solutions from Rockwell Automation and its participating companies. Cisco will also be featured in the Rockwell Ethernet/IP Booth 345, a special events booth showcasing Ethernet/IP solutions with Rockwell and its Encompass partners.

Ken Coley, Technical Marketing Engineer from Cisco, will discuss Ethernet in industrial control networks on Nov. 18-20, 2003, in the Hyatt Hotel, Regency D, at 4 pm. Coley's technical session focuses on "Deploying Ethernet in Industrial Control Networks via IEEE Standard Switching Technologies." The session will discuss how to enhance industrial control networks with the use of intelligent Ethernet switching technologies as defined by IEEE standards.

Larry O'Connell, Product Manager, and Scott Westlake, Manufacturing Vertical Marketing Lead, both of Cisco, will meet with press on Nov. 18, 2003, at Booth 624.
