Who: Cisco Systems, Inc.
What: Cisco Systems will host a press event to address its technology, vision, and overall strategy in the broadband market. Mike Volpi, Senior Vice-President Routing and Technology Group, will provide an overview of broadband and its future, Cisco's overall value proposition for broadband, as well as emerging technologies on broadband.
A Cisco executive panel will lead a discussion on the topic of broadband that will address the technology needs of today and tomorrow, as well as regulatory issues impacting the technology, entertainment and telecommunication industries. The panel will also introduce several new products that will further strengthen Cisco's broadband strategy. Speakers will include: Larry Birenbaum, Senior Vice President and General Manager Ethernet Access Group; Laura Ipsen, Vice President Government Affairs; Carlos Dominguez, Group Vice President U.S. Service Providers; and Carson Chen, Vice President and General Manager Cable Business Unit.
