Patrick Morrissey

SVP, Americas Sales

Patrick Morrissey is Senior Vice President of Americas Sales, the largest of Cisco’s three geographic regions and responsible for approximately $33 billion in annual sales for the company. He leads a diverse and dynamic organization covering all facets of the business across six theaters, including Commercial, Public Sector, Global Enterprise, Service Provider, Canada, and Latin America.

Prior to his current role, Patrick was Senior Vice President of Cisco’s Global Specialists organization – a team of more than 5,000 at the forefront of Cisco's business evolution. The Global Specialists drive Cisco’s key growth initiatives across Networking, Cloud and AI, Security, and Collaboration. He drove the worldwide go-to-market strategy around AI (Hyperscaler and Enterprise) and Security. Patrick and his team were also responsible for many of the company’s software and SaaS businesses and integrating acquisitions to take advantage of Cisco's GTM and scale.

During his 25-year Cisco tenure, Patrick was responsible for some of Cisco’s largest and most strategic customer engagements across Enterprise, Web/Hyperscaler, and Service Provider. He built the Web & Media business – creating a new vision and strategy for Cisco during a time of significant technology and business model disruption. He established a new co-development engagement model that enabled Cisco to evolve its mass-scale networking strategy and gain a seat at the table with some of the world’s most influential customers. He went on to serve as Senior Vice President of the Americas Service Provider organization, where he managed the company’s major Hyperscaler/Cloud, Telco and Mobile, and Cable and Media relationships across U.S., Canada, and Latin America, and led the business from double-digit declines to double-digit growth.

Patrick is a customer-focused, results-driven sales leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams in both early and large-scale operating environments. He balances strong strategic planning with a disciplined approach to operational excellence and achieving revenue objectives. Patrick leads with energy, authenticity, and conviction, and has a passion for developing talent, leadership, and team culture.

Patrick is passionate for supporting homeless youth through his leadership with Covenant House International. He serves as Executive Sponsor for Cisco Global and Cisco Boston’s Covenant House fundraising and action efforts, and is also on the Covenant House International Board of Directors.

Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in management and marketing from Nichols College. He also possesses dual citizenship – United States and Ireland (EU).
