Vikas Butaney
As the SVP | GM of Cisco Cloud and Industrial IoT Connectivity, Vikas Butaney sets the business and engineering strategy and solutions across a portfolio of Industrial IoT, SD-WAN, and Cloud technologies. His global teams are accelerating the journey of customers leverage IT to increase business agility, simplify their operations and use the power of software defined and cloud capabilities across campus, branches, and data centers.
For CIOs looking to leverage software-defined networking and the cloud, his team delivers Cisco SD-WAN and routing portfolio, multi-cloud network, and cross domain capabilities. Prior to this role, Vikas held the position of VP, Product Management for Cisco IoT and other leadership roles in Cisco network engineering. Vikas also brings experience from working at cloud and mobility start-ups, including Accelera and Mobile Iron.
Vikas earned his M.S. in Electrical Engineering focusing on Optical and Data Communications from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
