Thimaya Subaiya is Chief Transformation Officer at Cisco. He is responsible for driving accelerated transformation across the company to deliver innovation to customers and partners faster while also providing increased predictability in the business.
Subaiya brings a strong track record of over 15 years, implementing growth strategies in the services and software businesses. In his former role as Chief Customer Experience Officer, he was responsible for driving innovation in the Cisco Success Portfolio and accelerating customer adoption, partner engagement and overall growth for Cisco’s Services, a $13 billion business. He has also successfully developed and delivered Customer Experience architecture and solutions that help customers accelerate business outcomes and enable our partners to expand that value to customers.
Before joining Cisco, he was Chief Operating Officer of Customer Success as well as SVP of Global Marketing and Operations at Salesforce. As COO, he was responsible for customer adoption and experience, product alignment, support, renewals, and P&L management and played a pivotal role in driving customer retention and growth. As SVP, Global Marketing & Operations, he drove market leadership, business planning and strategy, demand generation, strategic events, and global growth across marketing.
He also spent seven years at Oracle, where he held leadership positions in business and global planning and strategy and was responsible for the Oracle Direct division. Previously, Subaiya worked in business development at Global Information Solutions and as a director at Vishwagram Marketing.
Subaiya holds an MBA from the ENPC School of International Management in Paris.
