Tadhg Bourke

SVP, People & Communities

Tadhg Bourke is the Senior Vice President of Cisco’s People Growth team, part of the enterprise’s People & Communities organization. He leads the talent engine of the business, steering teams that include Talent Acquisition, Talent Planning, Talent Management, Talent Development and Talent Operations. With over two decades in HR management, Tadhg has gained valuable experience establishing and leading teams towards employee-centric cultures.  

Most recently, Tadhg held the role of VP of Talent at Workday, where he ran a portfolio of functions with a focus on People Leader support and growth, transformation of Workday’s HR Operating model, and its subsequent global expansion.  

Before his time at Workday, Tadhg held leadership roles in hyperscale companies, joining Google shortly after its IPO and Netflix as it was about to launch their international service. He has held regional roles based in EMEA, global roles focusing on the development of innovative talent programs and led teams across all parts of the globe. 

As he looks ahead, Tadhg is working to evolve Cisco’s talent programs to ensure they support our continued transformation creating innovative, people-centered business solutions that accelerate Cisco’s growth.   

Although born and raised in Ireland, where he earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Limerick before later graduating from Business School at the University College Dublin, Tadhg now resides in the Bay Area close to Cisco HQ. In his free time, Tadhg is a fitness enthusiast, has a passion for soccer and tennis, and is an avid world traveler (60 countries and counting!).
