Sunil Potti

Sunil Potti is the SVP/GM of Cisco’s Security, Observability, and Data Platform organization, including the global Splunk business. He leads the unified organization responsible for converging security and observability, powered by the Cisco Data Platform, to help customers strengthen digital resilience and detect and respond to threats at machine speed.

Sunil is an accomplished technology and security executive with deep experience scaling category-defining businesses. Most recently, he served as a Venture Partner at Wing Venture Capital.

Previously, Sunil led Google Cloud’s security organization, helping GCP become one of the most trusted cloud platforms while establishing Google Cloud as a global security leader through significant organic product growth and strategic M&A.

Prior to Google, Sunil was Chief Product and Development Officer at Nutanix, joining in its pre-IPO days and helping scale the company into a global enterprise technology brand. Earlier, as VP/GM at Citrix, he led the NetScaler business through five years of record growth. He began his career in senior roles at F5 Networks, Cisco, and Sybase.

Sunil holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Penn State University.
