Srini Namineni

SVP, Strategy & Planning, Operations and Customer Experience

Srini leads Strategy & Planning for Cisco’s Operations and Customer Experience (CX) organization. His team delivers business insights and customer insights to the executive leadership team to accelerate Cisco’s transformation and drive company growth. Their mission also includes growth strategy, portfolio planning, and risk assurance.

With more than 25 years of experience in global enterprise technology, Srini is known for his expertise in building high performing teams, developing growth strategies, and driving transformation. He joined Cisco in 2018 as vice president, CX Global Business Operations, and a year later, expanded his role to include CX Strategy and CX Partner Ecosystem. CX is one of Cisco’s largest business units, and a key growth engine for the company’s transformation to a recurring revenue business model.

Srini believes that the best leaders make everyone around them better. He is passionate about nurturing the next generation and building a culture that values continuous learning and skills development for all.

Before joining Cisco, Srini served as vice president, Finance & Strategy, at Salesforce, where he was the finance business partner for the co-CEO. He also held leadership roles at IBM and several startups and was the co-founder of a web startup.

Srini earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, a master’s degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from The Wharton School. He and his wife live in Los Altos, California, and are the parents of two grown daughters. He enjoys non-fiction reading, hiking local trails, learning Sanskrit, and walking 10,000 steps daily.
