Nick Michaelides is the Senior Vice President of Americas Sales, the largest of Cisco’s three geographic regions and responsible for approximately $37 billion in annual sales for the company. He leads a richly diverse and dynamic team that spans 17 countries and six theaters, including U.S. Commercial, U.S. Public Sector, Canada, Latin America, Americas Service Provider, and the Global Enterprise Segment.
Nick’s deep understanding of his customers and their mission-critical challenges have strengthened Cisco’s relationship and position in the market. His customer-first mentality and operational rigor enables his teams to serve as trusted advisors to their customers and partners and consistently deliver results.
Prior to his current role, Nick held several leadership roles within Cisco. Most recently he led U.S. Public Sector, which comprises customers in both State & Local Governments and Education (SLED) as well as those in the Federal Market, including Defense, Civilian and National Security Operations. With over 30 years specifically in the Federal and technology industry, Nick is a proven leader and strategic partner, delivering innovative solutions and services to one of the largest employers in the world: the United States Department of Defense. His tenacious advocacy for accelerated FedRAMP efforts paved the way for Cisco’s continued growth in this critical sector.
Through his strategic vision and diligent operational management, Nick is a renowned leader dedicated to the development of strong, highly functioning teams. With a sincere passion for mentorship, Nick has led Cisco’s Transformational Leadership Initiative and is an active participant in various development programs, including Cisco’s Momentum Executive Leadership Program, of which he himself is an alumn.
Nick holds an Active Top Secret SCI clearance. He enjoys spending time at the lake with his wife, Rita, their three children, and grandchildren.
