Muralikrishna (Murali) Gandluru is Senior Vice President of Cisco Data Center Networking, setting the product strategy and driving innovation and growth for Cisco’s multi-billion- dollar data center networking business. His team develops solutions for some of the world’s most demanding data center environments, leveraging AI to reduce operational complexity and improve the efficiency, security, and agility of data center operations.
As a recognized thought leader in AI infrastructure, Murali is helping define how networking evolves for the era of agentic AI. His vision goes beyond building faster networks to reimagining how data center infrastructure is designed, secured, and operated. Under his leadership, Cisco has introduced innovations spanning AI-native infrastructure, workload-aware fabrics, secure networking, and AgenticOps for data centers.
Starting his career as a development test engineer at Cisco, he went on to build and lead product teams at both global technology companies and successful startups – including IBM’s Hybrid Cloud Automation Group, Insieme Networks (acquired by Cisco), Arrcus, and DuploCloud, which he co-founded. This breadth of experience informs his leadership approach: combining startup speed, ingenuity, and customer focus with the discipline required to deliver at enterprise scale.
Outside of work, Murali enjoys spending time with his family, supporting Liverpool Football Club, cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes, and pursuing his hobbies of singing, playing guitar, and hiking.
