Mike Horn is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Security for Splunk. His focus is developing a security blueprint for the AI era, pushing the boundaries of how customers securely use data and AI to drive digital resilience.
Mike joined Splunk via the acquisition of the threat analysis company TwinWave, where he was co-founder and CEO. In that role, he pushed the team to reimagine how threat analysis could leverage automation to deliver faster, better and deeper insights into the security threats that matter.
Prior to founding TwinWave, Mike was the General Manager for security products at Proofpoint, where he was responsible for products including Targeted Attack Protection, Threat Response and Emerging Threat Intelligence.
Throughout his career, Mike has been committed to building innovative cybersecurity solutions that help security teams stay ahead of the constantly evolving threat landscape. As an engineer, entrepreneur, and consultant to large and small companies, startups and government agencies, he has helped organizations make smarter decisions to protect their business, their customers, and their employees.
Mike studied it George Mason University, where he earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and continued his education by earning an MBA at the University of Denver.
