Lawrence Huang

SVP/GM, Network Platform and Wireless

Lawrence Huang is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Network Platform and Wireless, responsible for driving the overall strategy and success of the Cisco Network Platform and Wireless teams. Passionate about transforming customer’s experiences by simplifying powerful and secure networking, Lawrence joined Meraki in 2012 and was Meraki’s first product manager for the Meraki Switch (MS) portfolio. Over time, he has led product management for the Meraki access networking portfolio, the Meraki product management team, and now oversees the business for Cisco Network Platform and Wireless. Solutions include Meraki and Catalyst wireless, smart cameras, environmental sensors, and endpoint management; all centrally managed in a cloud-based dashboard. 

Prior to joining Cisco, Lawrence held a variety of roles including as a Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) electrical engineer at startups and Intel Corp. In addition, Lawrence is a co-inventor and holds five U.S. patents for optical communications. 

Lawrence earned a Bachelor of Science and Masters Degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and an MBA focused on technology management from UCLA Anderson School of Management. 

Raised in Los Angeles, Lawrence currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
