Joe Vaccaro is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco's Network Platform and Assurance organization, where he leads product, design, and strategy across the network management and assurance portfolio, including ThousandEyes, Meraki, and Catalyst Center. Joe is driving Cisco Networking’s AgenticOps vision, building the intelligence layer that enables networks to sense, diagnose, and act autonomously across complex, distributed environments.
Joe is deeply committed to a customer-first philosophy, believing that technology must solve the most complex challenges of a hyper-connected world. He strives to ensure that Cisco’s solutions directly address the talent, budget, and operational constraints faced by modern IT teams. Beyond technology, Joe champions talent development, building resilient organizations by empowering diverse, cross-functional teams to learn, grow, and collaborate in an ever-changing landscape.
With over a decade of experience scaling enterprise SaaS and infrastructure services, Joe is focused on closing the gap between network complexity and operational simplicity. Prior to joining Cisco ThousandEyes in 2019, Joe served as VP of Product at Citrix and held leadership roles in infrastructure and virtualization at Cisco.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
