As Senior Vice President of Business Development, Pricing, Strategy & Planning for the Product Organization, Jessie helps make decisions about how to invest resources and allocate talent for Cisco’s multibillion-dollar product portfolio to create a platform advantage and a unique value proposition for customers.
Jessie brings her extensive background in planning, go-to-market strategies, and business operations for SaaS-based business models to this role. She is responsible for developing consistent, repeatable processes to help increase the tempo of our business as we build products people love and readily adopt across their entire customer journey with Cisco.
Jessie previously served as the SVP of Strategy and Planning Operations for the Security & Collaboration Business Groups. In this role, she built comprehensive sales and marketing technology stacks and simplified pricing and go-to-market strategies to exponentially scale the businesses. She also created a centralized business development team that reinvigorated our Security and Collaboration ecosystems and strengthened relationships with strategic partners.
As a Chicago native, Jessie describes herself as deep rooted in Midwestern values, which translates into approachable, no-nonsense business sensibilities. She prides herself on seeking to deeply understand what makes people tick and listening to all voices in the room to build trust, solve problems, and make fair decisions.
Before Cisco, Jessie led the product and platform operations teams at Box. In this role, she helped transform Box from a single-product application provider to a multi-product platform organization, driving customer-centric release processes, and developing enterprise-grade processes at scale. Previously, she held senior roles at Syncplicity and EMC, focused on accelerating SaaS business models.
Jessie has an M.S. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School and a B.S. in Psychology from DePaul University. She now resides in the San Diego Area with her family.
