Amy Alfano is Senior Vice President, Strategy and Planning at Cisco, leading the Office of the CEO, as well as serving as Chief of Staff to the CEO.

In this capacity, Amy leads her team in executing the full breadth of Cisco's corporate strategy. This encompasses driving business planning, operational cadences, and programs that support Cisco's growth objectives. Amy guides her team to connect insights from customers and partners directly to decision makers, informing and inspiring meaningful change across the organization. Under her leadership, the team champions Cisco innovation by demonstrating the art of the possible through showcasing the transformative potential of Cisco's solutions to address stakeholders' business outcomes.

Previously, Amy was the Vice President, Office of the CEO at Cisco. Before that, she was the Senior Director, Business Operations for Global CX Centers, where she led the strategy, planning and operations for Cisco’s global support services.

Throughout her combined 20 years at Cisco, Amy’s experience has spanned leadership roles in operations, marketing, sales, and business development. Additionally, she previously owned a consulting business advising executives at major technology companies on communications and marketing strategies.

As an experienced and passionate leader, Amy is dedicated to building high performance teams, leading transformational initiatives, and driving operational excellence – all grounded in the fundamentals of customer experience, business growth, and cross-functional teamwork.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History magna cum laude with honors from the University of Pennsylvania.
