Adele Trombetta

SVP & GM, CX EMEA

Adele Trombetta is known to be a transformational leader with deep business expertise and a strong track record in orchestrating large-scale programs. In her role as Senior Vice President and General Manager of CX EMEA, she leads a team of 6,000+ service professionals across 50+ countries, working with more than 16,000 partners to deliver leading edge innovation and serving the region’s digital ambitions for more than 120,000 customers. 

A strong proponent of Corporate Responsibility and a steadfast advocate for Women in Technology, Adele also serves as the Global CX Lead for Sustainability as well as being the Global CX sponsor for Diversity. Under her leadership, her organization - which incorporates support services, professional services, customer success and renewals teams - has rallied around a common vision and strategy and are standing at the forefront of innovation and transformation solutions for customers.   

As a 25-year-plus veteran of the tech industry, Adele is a sought-after and respected thought leader on the global events circuit, talking on a range of topics from digital transformation to innovation, as well as being a frequent panelist on women in technology, diversity and inclusion. Adele has a deep passion for driving change, especially when it comes to attracting women and young people to the tech sector. She spearheaded Platform of Opportunity, a program for displaced refugees in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, providing individuals with an Apprenticeship powered by Cisco CX; reinforcing the Company’s overall mission of powering an inclusive future for all.   

In 2018, Adele became the first female VP appointed to lead CX, MEA, based in the Middle East. Prior to that she led Cisco’s Advanced Service delivery organization for EMEA, responsible for regional strategy and P&L with key areas of focus on delivery excellence, workforce transformation and cross-country collaboration. Before joining Cisco, Adele held several leadership roles, including at IBM and DXC Consulting, a company formed by CSC Consulting and HPE Enterprise Services.   

Adele holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, and an MBA from Henley Business School. She also has two patents in security technology.
