How the world's biggest cybersecurity event protects itself

Watch how Cisco engineers leveraged a state-of-the-art Meraki network combined with Cisco Secure software and threat intelligence to secure the Black Hat network.

Nothing excites a hacker like the challenge of breaking into a high-level security event. So, to fend off the inevitable barrage of cyberthreats, Black Hat 2022 relied on critical help from Cisco to help build and secure its own purpose-built network.  

Operating from the event’s security operations center (SOC) within the network operations center (NOC), a team of 30 Cisco experts brought their best strategies, hardware, software, and threat intelligence to bear. 

Watch the video as the team walks through how they used a wide range of Cisco solutions, including from Meraki, firewall, malware analysis, Secure X, Mobile Device Management, Umbrella, and Cisco Endpoints.
