São Paulo, Brazil, July 30, 2013 - As a continuation of its strategy for the small and medium-sized business market (SMB) in Brazil, Cisco announced the launch of two online channels for this segment in the country: the new website "Solucoes para PME" (Solutions for SMB - https://solucoespme.cisco.com) and a new e-commerce channel for buying Cisco products (http://www.cisco.com/go/brasilecommerce).
The new website is a B2B channel, where customers can ask questions about solutions, products and services to Cisco® Certified Partners. In addition, the customers are able to browse the Cisco SMB portfolio, post requests for products, solutions and services, receive quotes privately, and choose a provider for their projects. There is also detailed information on each Cisco Certified Partner, including expertise, certifications and specializations, as well as feedback from other customers.
For the partners, the website is an additional resource to reach new customers to offer their portfolio of services and products. In the tool, each partner has its own "microsite" for real-time interactions with customers in private and highly secure conditions. Quotes are delivered confidentially and directly to customers. Initially, eight certified partners are part of the project: Added, Brascin, Brumon, N&DC, Netconsulting, PA2, Planac and Ubik.
For the e-commerce project Cisco has initially selected partners, including BestMarket and Balao da Informatica, based on the alignment of prerequisites such as the capacity to effectively execute online sales transactions, the availability of SMB products, tools for creating marketing campaigns and suggested pricing policy.
"In our online strategy for small and medium-sized businesses, we customized the service to current and future customers that search us through the Internet, both for consultations on a project and for quick purchases of specific Cisco products", said Ana Claudia Plihal, commercial director at Cisco Brazil.
