Cisco CIO Rebecca Jacoby to Unveil Details of Cisco's New Green Data Center

Live Internet Broadcast to Highlight Cisco's Data Center and Private Cloud Strategy

On Friday, April 15, 2011, Cisco will host a live Internet TV broadcast and Q&A session featuring Rebecca Jacoby, Cisco's chief information officer, and John Manville, the company's vice president of IT, to coincide with the grand opening of Cisco's newest green data center in Texas.

The Cisco executives will explain how the new green data center -- a key part of Cisco's overall IT global data center strategy -- supports its internal private cloud and promotes energy efficiency.

What: A live Internet TV broadcast and interactive Q&A session to discuss:

  • Cisco's newest data center facility in Allen, Texas.
  • Features that help the data center to be green.
  • Cisco's use of its own data center technology, including the Cisco Unified Computing SystemTM and Cisco Nexus® switch portfolio.
  • How the new data center fits into Cisco's overall global data center and cloud strategy.
