"The relationship enables us to better connect with FIFA and the world through the use of state-of-the-art technology, as we continue the bidding process to bring the FIFA World CupTM to Australia in 2018 or 2022. The support of Cisco strengthens our efforts and helps us to spread the message about our bid both domestically and internationally."

Cisco joins Qantas as an official partner of FFA's bid to bring the FIFA World CupTM to Australia.
FFA will use high-definition video technology, called Cisco TelePresence, to share information and collaborate in virtual face-to-face meetings with colleagues and other stakeholders at a moment's notice to showcase Australia's connectivity with the world, whilst also reducing carbon emissions.
A further feature of the relationship is the use of Cisco WebEx, a service which will provide FFA's bid team with more productive and interactive Web conferences, and Cisco Digital Media systems, which will help convey Australia's unique bid proposition using compelling, rich digital media.
