What: Cisco will host a live Internet TV broadcast and Q&A session to discuss an Australian university's journey into cloud computing with its telecom partner and ICT provider. Cisco will be joined by special guests Peter Nikoletatos, CIO of Curtin University of Technology, one of the first Asia Pacific customers to deploy the Cisco Unified Computing SystemTM; Andrew Vranjes, practice manager of Data Centre Technologies at Alphawest; and Scott Mason, director of Strategy and Fixed Marketing at Optus Business, one of the first Cisco Unified Computing System Authorized Technology Partners in Asia Pacific.
With its shared vision for the future of enterprise IT infrastructure and private cloud computing and the introduction of the Virtual Computing Environment coalition, special guests from EMC and VMware will also join in the live question-and-answer session to discuss how cloud computing is causing a paradigm shift in how businesses use ICT.
