Cisco to Host Online Roundtable on the Future Of Next- Generation 802.11n Wireless Technologies

What: On Sept. 4, 2007, Cisco will host an interactive online videocast for media on 802.11n draft 2.0's promise, including how the marketplace can capitalize on opportunities and avoid potential challenges. During the videocast, the company will also outline its offerings and plans around 802.11n technologies. Discussion to include:

  • Overall business landscape and drivers for adoption of next-generation wireless technologies
  • Strategies for successfully deploying next-generation wireless networks and transitioning to 802.11n
  • How to overcome potential challenges of 802.11n's early adoption
  • Importance of interoperability between networks and devices
  • Live Q&A session
  • Who: Participants will include Maciej Kranz, Vice President of Product Marketing for Cisco; Ben Gibson, Director of Mobility Solutions for Cisco; and Randy Nickel, Director of Wireless Marketing, Mobile Platforms Group for Intel Corporation.
