Cisco Canada Announces 2006 Channel Partner Award Winners

11 Canadian Companies Recognized at Cisco Partner Summit

LAS VEGAS, April 5, 2007 - Cisco® Canada today announced the winners of its 2006 Channel Partner Awards, presented annually to recognize its channel partners' exceptional performance in the delivery of Cisco-based services and solutions to customers. Among the winners is Oakville, Ontario's UNIS LUMIN, which received the Top Services Partner Award for its outstanding performance in the combined U.S. and Canada Theatre. Each of the winners was recognized at the Cisco Partner Summit 2007 taking place this week in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 11 Canadian honorees were selected from a list of nearly 100 Cisco Certified Channel Partners in Canada for their outstanding performance in 2006 in one of the following categories: Advanced Technology, Security, Wireless, Innovation, Foundation, Enterprise, Public Sector, Commercial, Services, Customer Satisfaction and Unified Communications.

The 2006 Cisco Canada Channel Partner Award winners are:

  • Top Innovation Partner: SaskTel
  • Top Foundation Partner: Compugen Inc.
  • Top Enterprise Partner: IBM Canada Ltd.
  • Top Public Sector Partner: Bell Canada
  • Top Commercial Partner: TELUS
  • Top Services Partner: UNIS LUMIN Inc.
  • Top Customer Satisfaction :CCSI Technology Solutions Corp. (CCSI)
  • Top Unified Communications Partner: IBM Canada Ltd.

The Cisco Channel Partner Awards are distributed annually to the best channel partner in each category in each theatre, as determined by a formalized selection committee composed of Cisco executives. All of the awards are in compliance with the requirements of the Cisco Channel Partner Program, which upholds customer satisfaction as its primary criterion.
