Cisco Adds ScanSource as Specialty Wireless Distributor in the United States

ScanSource to Provide Access to Thousands of New Industry- Focused Wireless Solution Providers

SAN JOSE, Calif., January 22, 2007 - In a move to accelerate the adoption of its wireless solutions and to further penetrate vertical markets, Cisco® today announced it has added ScanSource to its list of authorized distributors in the United States as a Specialty Distributor for mobility technologies in key vertical markets.

The relationship allows for thousands of ScanSource resellers to strengthen their offering and grow their businesses by accessing Cisco Unified Wireless Network products and solutions in a growing wireless market. Effective immediately, ScanSource will offer Cisco wireless solutions including access points, controllers, network management software, security, switching and routing products to their resellers across the United States.
