WHAT: Cisco Systems is hosting a press and industry analyst event highlighting the important role that networking solutions play in transforming governments to meet the needs of citizens. Attendees will hear first hand from state, local and federal government organizations and educational institutions about their business and technology strategies. Customers will share their challenges, the role technology plays in transforming their business, and how Cisco's strategic advisory services have helped them increase productivity, enhance safety, stimulate economic development and improve education.

Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the solutions that governments and educational institutions are deploying to meet unique mission needs, including wireless, IP telephony and security solutions.

During the event, reporters and analysts will be able to tour the Cisco G-Wagen.
