Cisco Demonstrations at Booth 5252

Cisco showcases innovative, new technologies and solutions that will allow cable operators to create new services, generate revenue, and reduce capital and operating expenses. Demonstrations include:

  • Wideband Protocol for a DOCSIS Network: New technology that allows operators to logically bond multiple RF channels together to form a "wideband" channel, and thereby, more efficiently use available bandwidth.
  • Enhanced PacketCable Voice and Multimedia Communications: Demonstration of advanced, SIP-enabled, residential voice and multimedia communications services such as video telephony, and set-top-box integration.
