WHAT:
At the upcoming SCTE Emerging Technologies Conference, Cisco Systems, Inc. will demonstrate innovative technology that can allow a Cable Operator to dramatically increase end user bandwidth. In the Fountain Room of the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, Cisco will present the first public demonstration of its new "wideband" technology for DOCSIS which has the capability to cost-effectively deliver over 100Mbps for each subscriber, with a maximum speed up to 640 Mbps to a single modem, over their existing hybrid-fiber-coaxial (HFC) networks.
