Cisco Systems to Exhibit at International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in Los Angeles

WHAT: Demonstration of Cisco's public safety solutions, including metropolitan mobile networks, wireless, and IP telephony as part of Amber Alert.

WHO:

Chris Josephs, homeland security director, Cisco Systems, will meet with press on Nov. 15 and 16, 2004, at Booth 1100. Those interested in a press briefing with Josephs or the Cisco speakers below should contact Laura Johnston (see above for contact information).

Josephs and Sam Ezekiel, marketing director, Cisco Systems, will both participate in a panel discussion on "An Executive Orientation to Communication Networks: Data, Voice, and Video Interoperability" on Nov. 15, 2004, in the Los Angeles Convention Center, room 153AB, from 3-4:30 pm.

Kevin Flynn, security advisor, Cisco Systems, will participate in a panel discussion on "Protecting Critical Infrastructure: Understanding Data and Network Security" on Nov. 14, 2004, in the Los Angeles Convention Center, room 408B, from 3-5 pm.

Sgt. Dean Zanone, public safety advisor, Cisco Systems, will participate in a panel discussion on "Best Practices for Information Sharing: Peer-to-Peer Panel" on Nov. 15, 2004, in the Los Angeles Convention Center, room 408B, from 8-9:30 am.

WHEN & WHERE: The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference will be held on Nov. 13-17, 2004, with exhibits open on Nov. 13-15, 2004, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
