Cisco to Host Conference Call on Its Agreement to Acquire Linksys

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 20, 2003 - Cisco Systems has scheduled a conference call on Thursday, March 20, 2003 at 7:00 a.m. (PT) to discuss its definitive agreement to acquire privately held Linksys, a developer of networking equipment including wireless and wired home routers and access points for the consumer and small office/home office (SOHO) markets.

Join Cisco's senior vice president and general manager of product development, Charlie Giancarlo and senior vice president of corporate development, Dan Scheinman, as they discuss the business and technological aspects of this acquisition, which represents Cisco's entry into the multi-billion dollar home networking market.
