BANGKOK, Thailand - October 16, 2002 - Cisco Systems is holding a two-day event for the regional broadband industry in Bangkok, Thailand on November 7 and 8. The Asia Pacific and Japan Broadband Summit 2002 is targeted at business and technical decision makers in tier 1 and 2 service providers as well as systems integrators in the region.

One of the key topics that will be covered at the event is the future of Broadband and the emergence of Metro Ethernet as the technology for Business customers and Cable for Residential customers.
