What: Cisco Systems' market-leading wireless LAN products, the Cisco Aironet Series Access Points and PC Cards are being featured at the Microsoft Enterprise Conference (MEC) 2002 in Anaheim, Calif. In addition, Cisco will showcase security, unified messaging software, and IP telephony solutions.

Cisco is installing its Aironet wireless network infrastructure throughout the Anaheim Convention Center for the conference intranet, enabling convenient, instant access to the Internet and show network for all attendees of the conference.

At its booth, Cisco will demonstrate enhanced wireless network security with its Cisco Wireless Security Suite for the Aironet product line, including Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol (PEAP). Also being shown is the newly announced Cisco Aironet 1100 Series Access Point, which features intelligent enterprise services, such as QOS, Proxy Mobile IP and VLAN support, at a lower total cost.

Cisco will highlight its Cisco IP Phone 7960 and Cisco 3000 VPN Concentrator series in a demonstration of secure remote access to a corporate IP telephony network and corporate intranet.

The Unity unified messaging solution will also be showcased. This solution delivers powerful unified messaging (e-mail, voice, and fax messages sent to one inbox) and intelligent voice messaging features that improve communications, boost productivity, and enhance customer service capabilities.

Cisco will also feature its Cisco CallManager and Cisco IP phones as part of a demonstration of its IP telephony solution that delivers key IP-based communication services.
