Cisco Systems Appoints Raymond Huang as Country Manager for Philippine Operations

MANILA, Philippines - July 9, 2002 - Cisco Systems, Inc., announced today the appointment of Raymond Huang as Country Manager for its operations in the Philippines. Reporting to Frankie Sum, Managing Director for North Asia, Huang will have responsibility for driving Cisco's sales and marketing operations in one of the company's most exciting markets.

"Raymond Huang joins us with an excellent track record in the IT and telecom industries. His blend of managerial and technical experience plus exposure to regional markets will be a tremendous value add to Cisco and to our customers and channels in the Philippines," said Sum.

"In the current challenging economic conditions, the Internet can help corporations and service providers by lowering operational costs and increasing business efficiency. Raymond will outline Cisco's role in defining the role of the Internet for our customers in the Philippines."

Huang has over 20 years of experience in the IT and telecom industries working for a variety of companies including Microsoft, AT&T Network Systems, Ayala Systems Technology and Globe Telecom.
