Cisco is preferred solutions provider to network Digital Park Campus
NEW DELHI, India - May 2, 2002 - Cisco Systems, the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, today announced the implementation of an end-to-end network at Digital Global Soft's 25-acre campus in Bangalore. The network has been designed, implemented and rolled out by Digital's systems integration team with support from Cisco - and will connect Digital Global Soft's 600 Indian employees. The multi-service Cisco network is extremely scalable and is capable of accommodating 4,500 users. Cisco network infrastructure consists of carrier class routers, switches, firewalls and load balancing appliances, and IP Phones.
At the Digital Park Campus in Bangalore, Cisco has implemented a world-class Data Centre solution. This Data Centre will provide Internet Hosting Services that manages e-business platforms for Digital's customers in India and abroad. Further, Cisco has also set-up a high capacity global network for the company to implement a comprehensive array of networking solutions including IP Telephony, VPN, Security and Network Management Solutions at the Digital Park Campus.

Cisco's IP Telephony solution will connect the Digital Park to the company's head office in Houston, Texas - as well as Digital's other offices around the world. Cisco's secure Intrusion Detection System and Cisco PIX Firewall provide Digital an enterprise-wide, real time security system designed to detect, report and terminate unauthorized activity both from within and outside its network.
