National CEO Technology Group Briefing on Broadband Principles

Conference Call with key CEOs and the Media Scheduled for January 15th

PALO ALTO, Calif., January 9, 2002 - Tech Net http://www.technet.org, an industry group representing over 235 of the leading technology and biotechnology companies from California, Texas, Massachusetts and Washington will release a set of broadband policy principles focused on developing remedies to spur broadband deployment. Broadband is among TechNet's top priority in 2002.

Several TechNet CEOs and senior executives will participate in a conference call with the media on January 15, 2002 beginning at 8:30 am PST. Task Force members will be available for Q&A after a briefing on the principles.
