Cisco Systems hosts "Speaker Series" and Webcast highlighting Storage Networking

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 18, 2001 - Cisco Systems will host another session of its ongoing "Speaker Series" webcast, with corresponding slide presentation, on Friday, April 20, 2001, at 1:30 PM (PST), highlighting its Storage Networking Initiative and its recently-announced storage router. All interested parties are invited to participate.

Please join Mark Cree, General Manager of the Storage Routing Business Unit, as he discusses Cisco's strategy to address the growing need for a standards-based architecture to transport storage traffic over IP networks. Cisco has a portfolio of products, including the new SN 5420 Storage Router, for enterprise and storage service provider customers. Cisco is also working with a broad array of partners to address IP access to storage, network attached storage, storage over the wide area network (WAN), and storage over metro optical transport.

No previously unannounced issues will be discussed in this webcast.
