TORONTO, ON - March 13, 2001 - Cisco Systems Canada Co. today announced it has expanded the "Cisco Certification Has its Rewards" reseller program to include Cisco's new Technology Specializations.

In addition to being eligible to receive rewards for achieving Associate, Professional and Expert certifications in network design or network support, resellers can now obtain gifts for new Cisco Certified Networking Professional Specializations. These include Security, Voice Access, Network Management, LAN ATM and SNA/IP Integration, as well as the Cisco Certified Design Professional Specialization in SNA/IP Integration.

The program is designed to encourage reseller employees to obtain Cisco Career Certifications by rewarding them for achievement. For each level of certification resellers receive an engraved Cisco Certification plaque and a gift. Employers will be able to apply the certified employee toward their requirement for Partner Certification.

Cisco has redesigned the gift selection available to participating resellers. Available rewards include: Sony Trinitron Televisions, Sony CD Walkman, Sony VCRs and answering machines.
