Cisco Systems Ottawa Development Centre Continues Expansion

What: Cisco Systems announces the next two phases of expansion for the Cisco Ottawa Development Centre.

Who: Representatives included (in photo, left to right):

Why: Cisco's continued success in the Ottawa region has led to the building of a five building Cisco campus in Kanata to accommodate up to 2,400 employees. The Cisco Ottawa Development Centre focuses on carrier grade data communications products.

When:

  • Phase II, comprised of 105,000 square feet, is to be ready for July 2001
  • Phase III, comprised of 157,000 square feet is slated to open in December 2001.

Where: The expansion site is located in Kanata's NorthTech Campus development, a state-of-the-art technology-oriented office park on prime real estate in the heart of Kanata on Innovation Drive.
