Cisco Systems Canada Announces Promotion of Brent Rebus to Director, Canadian Channel Operations

TORONTO, ON - September 18, 2000 - Pierre-Paul Allard, managing director, Cisco Systems Canada Co. is pleased to announce the promotion of Brent Rebus to Director, Canadian Channel Operations. In his new role, Brent Rebus will be responsible for all channel operations for Cisco Systems Canada Co. including enterprise, service provider and distribution partners.

"In his six years at Cisco, Brent has consistently demonstrated leadership in driving Cisco's performance which has led to a strengthened channel model in Canada," said Pierre-Paul Allard, Managing Director, Cisco Systems Canada. Brent joined Cisco in November 1994 as Capital Region Manager and moved to Toronto in 1997 to assume the leadership of the Enterprise Channel Region. Prior to joining Cisco, Brent spent 11 years at IBM. His past experience includes leadership roles in System Engineering, Product Marketing and Sales Management.

Brent holds a Bcom (honours) from the University of Ottawa.
