Globe Telecom's Cisco Powered Network will combine Internet Protocol (IP) and Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) in one network creating a highly scalable, intelligent Layer 3 platform with Quality of Service (QoS) and any-to-any connectivity. Aside from high-speed Data Access, the network also enables IP VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), Voice over IP and Unified Messaging.
Globe Telecom's Multi-Service Digital Data Network (MSDDN) is powered by Cisco's 2500, 2600, 3400, 3640, 4500 and 4700 access routers, 7206 multifunction routers, 7513 and 7576 data and video routers, AS5300 universal access servers, BPX 8680 and MGX 8850 wide area switches and MGX 8220 edge concentrators.
