Atlanta, GA - SuperComm, Booth 3642 - June 7, 2000 - Sigma Systems Group, a global provider of advanced customer care, billing, and provisioning solutions to next generation and residential broadband service providers, today announced it has joined the Cisco New World Ecosystem Partner Program. The Cisco New World Ecosystem Program is an open and flexible partner program composed of technology partners committed to working together to create integrated and profitable solutions for service providers.

As a member of the Cisco New World Ecosystem, Sigma will gain the benefits of Cisco's global sales and marketing reach, as well as the ability to work with other members of the program to develop innovative and comprehensive OSS/BSS solutions for service providers.

"This is a very strategic milestone for Sigma Systems Group in that both companies share a common vision of tomorrow," said Andy Jasuja, President, Sigma Systems Group. "As importantly though, our broadband service provider customers are continually seeking the most synergistic activation and provisioning product suites, as well as integrated self-care and self-activation solutions - and this is what the relationship is all about."

Sigma's ServiceBroker is the world's leading service provisioning and activation solution for broadband cable, residential broadband and next-generation service providers. ServiceBroker is at core a workflow engine and an EAI (enterprise application integration) framework, supporting a rich set of process and interface standards specific to telecommunications and cable industry service provisioning and activation. With its strengths in cable and internet technologies, it has become the premiere provisioning engine for the household names of cable broadband. And as the core workflow engine of Sigma's CLEC in a Box superOSS suite, the power of ServiceBroker has become available to an entirely different type of carrier, the CLEC, DLEC or ICP, focused on offering competitive voice services. For next-generation carriers ready to support both broadband and traditional services, ServiceBroker offers a truly integrated migration path. Broadband service providers can leverage their existing ServiceBroker investment when expanding to voice services, and CLECs can tap into the product's rich broadband provisioning functionality when the time is right for higher-bandwidth offerings.

The Cisco New World Ecosystem is a community of technology partners enabling service providers to rapidly deploy innovative networking services. Cisco and its partners offer a wide range of solutions for Packet Telephony, Voice Applications, OSS/BSS, Solution Integration/Deployment and Broadband. Cisco New World Ecosystem partners support open, standards-based architectures and a shared commitment to interoperable, multi-vendor implementations. Membership in the Cisco New World Ecosystem Partner Program is extended to companies that demonstrate leading-edge technical capabilities and present mutual business opportunities.
