Atlanta, GA - SUPERCOMM 2000 - June 7, 2000, Ai Metrix, Inc. today announced the first product offering, resulting from their alliance with Portal Software Inc. (Nasdaq: PRSF). This new product offers service providers an integrated customer account management, billing, service activation/assurance and inventory management solution for quickly deploying new DSL/Broadband based networks.
The integration of Ai Metrix NeuralStar and Portal Infranet provides a complete end-to-end service delivery solution from order entry, to service activation, to billing, to ongoing service assurance-- "The complete functionality needed to run a DSL network, all in one neat little package," said Pete Oliver, Chief Technical Officer and Founder of Ai Metrix. "We can now turn up a DSL service provider with only three vendors in the system, Ai Metrix, Portal and Cisco Systems."
As a New World Ecosystem partner, Ai Metrix chose to validate the integrated solution on a DSL network consisting of equipment from Cisco Systems, such as the 6400 Access Concentrator, Cisco NI-1 6130 DSLAM, Cisco 6333 SDSL DSU, and Cisco 1750-2/4 Multiservice Modular Access Router.
