NHancement Receives Cisco Powered Network Designation. NHancement and Cisco Intend to Expand the Strength of Their Relationship.

PLEASANTON, Calif., June 26, 2000-NHancement Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:NHAN) the provider of the first "On-Tap" Personalized Communications Hub (PCH) offering unified communications and unified information (UC/UI) technologies, today announced that it is deploying a new unified communications product called eHub, which is built on the Unified Open Network Exchange (uOne) software platform from Cisco Systems Inc., the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet.

By deploying Cisco's hardware and networking infrastructure to deliver its eHub "On-Tap", NHancement earns the prestigious Cisco Powered Network designation and further extends its ability to deliver world-class integrated communications products and unified communications solutions.

Additionally, NHancement has received the Cisco Powered Network-Unified Communications Solutions (CPN-UCS) designation, a new distinction created by Cisco and announced on May 23 to recognize unified communications providers whose products and solutions deliver high performance, reliability and secure integrated technology.

NHancement's PCH-On-Tap combines three key elements:
  • End users can access personalized Web portals, audio Web portals, speech recognition technology, collaboration connectivity and Web-phone features.

  • For enterprise users, there is intelligent connectivity, which ensures that legacy data repositories, communications channels, customer contact systems and other business functions remain intact. Additional application layers include telephony engines, data retrieval and delivery engines, data analysis engines and sales/services recommendation engines.

  • A global Virtual Private Network will deliver these applications to those customers who require high reliability, toll quality voice delivery and security.
