Wavve Telecommunications, Inc. Joins Cisco Powered Network Program, Bolstering its Ability to Provide Highly Reliable, Scaleable Network Services and Applications to Business Customers

SACRAMENTO, Calif., May 3, 2000 - Wavve Telecommunications, Inc. (CDNX: WV) today announced that it is working with Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO), the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, to offer premier "one-stop-shop" e-commerce solutions to business customers in North America. Bridging the gap between the ISP and ASP, Wavve is a next generation e-service applications provider, offering complete infrastructure and application solutions under one roof. These advanced end-to-end services include physical and virtual hosting, virtual private networks (VPNs), network security and e-commerce applications based on a highly reliable and scalable IP infrastructure from Cisco.

Wavve has been designated a Cisco Powered Network provider assuring customers it maintains a high level of network interoperability and performance, with services based on Cisco equipment. Wavve's participation in the program - including use of the Cisco-Powered Network logo to brand its services and marketing support materials - is part of a strategic positioning initiative developed to reinforce the quality and security of the company's network management solutions and differentiate the value of its services.

Utilizing Cisco equipment and software, such as Cisco 7513 and 12008 GSR routers and Cisco 2948G switches, Wavve delivers high-speed Internet service and reliable e-commerce platforms to its customers.
