TORONTO, ON - March 2, 2000 - Cisco Systems Canada today announced COGNICASE Inc. (TSE: COG; NASDAQ: COGI) is the newest member of Cisco Systems Canada's Premier Certified Partner Program. Premier Certification enables COGNICASE to leverage Cisco's years of experience and commitment to customer satisfaction and to access business-building tools such as joint marketing funds, extended access to Cisco Connection Online (CCO) secured areas and video-on-demand sales update training.

"COGNICASE's designation as a Cisco Premier Partner recognizes our success with Cisco networking solutions," said Ronald Brisebois, president and CEO of COGNICASE. "Cisco is further investing in our success by giving us access to their comprehensive product portfolio and demand-generation sales and marketing programs."

Premier Certified Partners achieve Cisco's first certification level by completing sales and technical training and meeting other program criteria. After completing program requirements, Premier Certified Partners receive a wealth of sales and marketing information, tools and support. Premier Partners can also take advantage of additional service and support, as well as training and certification opportunities - to help increase product knowledge, technical expertise and support capabilities.

"By pairing COGNICASE's commitment to designing innovative network solutions for the Internet economy with the breadth and depth of Cisco's product line, customers benefit twice," says Brent Rebus, Canadian Channel Operations manager, Cisco Systems Canada. "Premier Partner status means customers know COGNICASE offers the highest-quality, most reliable networking solutions available today."
