As a certified Cisco Powered Network, PaeTec's customers will receive industry leading network services that are high-performance, customer focused, reliable and secure. PaeTec will use its installation of Cisco 7500 class aggregation routers and Cisco 12000 Series GSRs to build a nationwide high speed Internet Protocol (IP) network and deliver a wide range of Internet services to its business, university, and planned community customers. PaeTec's Cisco Powered Network infrastructure will deliver broadband Internet access to its widespread customer base enabling them to effectively use NewWorld network applications and build high speed Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) over a variety of access methods including leased line and Digital Subscriber Loop (DSL) circuits.
