Look Communications and Cisco Team to Offer Advanced End-to-end Communication Solutions

TORONTO, ON - January 20, 2000 - Look Communications Inc. (CDNX: LKC) and Cisco Systems Canada Co. (NASDAQ: CSCO) today announced Look Communications is now a member of the Cisco-Powered Network Program. Look is one of a select few Internet Service Providers in Canada to participate in this elite program.

This relationship highlights the companies' focus on leveraging intelligent wireless solutions to deliver the industry's leading network-based applications to Canadians. Under the program, the two companies are collaborating to offer reliable, secure and high-performance data transmission services including TV broadcasting access, Internet access and Web-related services.

Look Communications utilizes Cisco equipment and software, such as new core routers, switches and dial access equipment, to provide high-speed Internet service to customers.

In the Cisco-Powered Network Program, Look Communications will market services, based predominantly on Cisco equipment and software.
