SAN JOSE, Calif. -- November 12, 1999 -- Cisco Systems, Inc. today announced it has completed the acquisition of Calista, Inc of Buck, England and San Jose, CA. On August 16, 1999, Cisco announced a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held Calista. Under the terms of the agreement, Cisco common stock worth $55 million was exchanged for all outstanding shares and options of Calista. The acquisition will be accounted for as a purchase.
