Cisco Powered Network to Deliver Advanced Networking Services to Customers in the Netherlands
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands -- February 15, 1999 -- Knoware and Cisco Systems, Inc. today announced that they are combining efforts to offer Internet access to business customers and consumers in the Netherlands.
With a Cisco Powered Network, Knoware offers customers reliable, secure and high-performance Internet services. The relationship highlights Knoware's and Cisco's focus on using intelligent broadband IP networking to deliver enhanced connectivity and network-based applications.

To achieve this solution at Knoware cites 2000, 3000 and 7000 series routers are being used to gain Internet access along with 3600 series and AS5300 for dial access. At customer locations several types of routers are being used along with Cisco IOS. software versions eg. IP Firewall.
